Day of Remembrance

The Almighty God is all-knowing (omniscient); He is mindful of His promises and everything concerning His children. This means that God is be able to bring to His mind an awareness of everything happening to His children daily. What a big and wonderful God He is to handle the cases of all His sons and daughters across the nations of the world. God is known for fulfilling every promise He makes concerning His people. He is also good at keeping to the terms of any covenant established.  This tells us that He is not a forgetful God. He has assured us through Prophet Isaiah that He will not forgot us.

“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” Isaiah 49:15

You are reading this message now and you have been wondering whether God has forgotten to attend to that unpleasant situation in your life; be rest assured that God does not forget to attend to His children. No matter what the ugly situation is, believe that there is an end for this is your day of remembrance. Do not believe that your case is written off. Your expectation of healing, deliverance and breaking forth shall not be cut off in the name of my Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen!

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18

There is a day of remembrance for anyone facing any challenge as God has inscribed His children on the palms of His hands. He knew ahead that the Israelites will suffer in the hands of the Egyptians for 430 years. No matter how long that challenge has been in your life, your day of divine visitation is here.

The day of remembrance is a day when God brings one out of captivity. He heard the cries of the Israelites and He remembered the words of liberation He spoke to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God sent Moses to lead the Israelites out of captivity (Exodus 2:24). The Bible tells us that He brought them out with silver and gold. Your captivity is over this day and you are coming out strong and wealthy.

“He brought them forth also with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.” Psalms 105:37

The day of remembrance is a day when you move from prison to palace, a place of royalty. Joseph was brought out of the dungeon hastily when God caused Pharaoh’s chief butler to remember him. After Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams, he was adorned as governor of Egypt. Someone reading this message is being adorned for greatness.

“And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck.” Genesis 41:41-42

The day of remembrance is a day when every form of bareness turns to fruitfulness. If God remembered Hannah and Rachel after a period of childlessness, He will surely remember you that is believing God for the fruit of the womb. I see every closed womb opened now because this is your day of remembrance. That miracle baby is conceived and brought forth in the name of Jesus Christ.

“And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.” Genesis 30:22

“And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.” 1 Samuel 1:19

Several other cases abound in the Scriptures where God remembered His people and put an end to shame and reproach. Your case is not left out this day. Do you know that you can provoke divine remembrance?

Provoking God’s Remembrance

You can provoke divine remembrance by engaging in heartfelt praise and worship; fervent prayers and kingdom service.

Praise and Worship

One of the ways you can provoke God’s remembrance is praise and worship. You worship Him for His holiness and Supreme nature. You also engage daily in heartfelt praise. Praise activates God’s presence to attend to any unwanted issue in one’s life. He remembered and delivered Paul and Silas from bondage after they praised Him at midnight (Acts 16:25-26). Hannah went with Elkanah, her husband, yearly to worship and sacrifice to the Lord in Shiloh. Offer that sacrifice of worship and praise today and see God move in your favor.

Fervent Prayers

The Israelites cried out to God and He heard their cries. Do not give up on God; cry out to Him because He is ever present to deliver His people from every form of affliction. Remember to pray with faith and expectation.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Psalms 34:19

Hannah prayed from her heart and God came to her rescue. She was specific about her request and got her heart desire. When you pray, believe that you have received answers to your prayers and it shall be according to your faith.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” 1 Samuel 1:10-11

God answers the prayers of righteous people, so ensure that you steer clear of every ungodly lifestyle. Joseph maintained a life of holiness before his imprisonment and while waiting on God to bring him out of the dungeon. God indeed answered his prayers.

“….The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16b

Kingdom Service

You cannot be in between; it is either you are serving God or serving satan. No matter the challenges of life, endeavor to be at your place of service continually; serving God willingly and cheerfully. Many have received their miracles at the place of service. God remembered Noah during the flood because he engaged in kingdom service. He constructed the ark the way God designed it for over 100 years and was a steward within and outside the ark.

“And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged.” Genesis 8:1

Paul and Silas were busy winning souls for Christ before and after they were imprisoned. God remembered them in the day of challenge. Friend, God is watching you as you continue to serve Him acceptably; this day, He will not fail to attend to that unwanted issue in your life.

God remembers only His children. If you are yet to belong to His family, you can say this prayer of salvation to begin a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
